Are you using the wrong tools to succeed in business?
I ask this question because many of us use the same tools/methods we're accustomed to using, yet are NOT yielding the results we desire.
For years, I wandered aimlessly as a "want-to-be" entrepreneur, using whatever shiny object that promised to change my money woes.
Then, I met my first coach, who literally handed me a blueprint that made my book a bestseller in 2010.
Could YOU be using the wrong tool?
Sometimes the wrong tool could be a mentor, technology, or training. Sometimes it's hard to determine what the wrong tool is. That's why I've put together a little checklist to help you figure it out.
SELF-CHECK (answer yes or no):
-I love what I do.
-My revenue exceeds my expenses.
-I have access to good business advice.
-I meet my sales goals every month.
-Visits to my website increase every month.
-I am not overwhelmed by administrative tasks: email, social media, website tasks, etc
If you answered "No" to any of the statements, you may need to seek out new tools to get the results you're aiming for.
So, how do you know you're using the RIGHT tools? There are 3 simple criteria. The right tools:
-->WILL REFLECT IN YOUR INCOME: when you have the right tools in place, be it a mentor, technique or technology, your income will naturally increase to reflect the change. I suggest meauring your results at the 1 month, 3 month and 6 month mark before you opt to change course.
-- SUPPORT YOUR 3 BIGGEST BUSINESS GOALS: let's say your primary goals are to get more sales, grow your list and position yourself as the go-to person in your field. I'm sure you have MANY business goals, but any new tool you adapt, should focus on the 3 biggest results your aiming for. Don't get sidetrack by tools that DO NOT support your big three
-->MAKE YOU HAPPY: Any new tool you adapt should make running your business easier. Of course there's the natural stress that may occur with initially learning a new tool. I'm not talking about that. The KEY is to look for tools that offer a clear step-by-step blueprint with result-oriented testimonials that it actually works.
